An hour-long in-depth interview with director Diego Gutiérrez. Filmmaker, and board member of VEVAM Fund, Marjoleine Boonstra talks with him about his creative methods and views on filmmaking.

Diego Gutiérrez is an intriguing Mexican-Dutch documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, and video artist. After majoring in art at the UNAM in Mexico City and Rijksacademie in Amsterdam, Gutiérrez participated in the Binger Filmlab Doc Lab program, making two elements—deep immersion into the worlds of his characters and constant experimental search—the signature of his cinematic works.
